Singapore’s Lee Warns of Uncertainties in 2023 as Risks Pile

As the entire world leaves the worst of inflation behind in 2022, Singapore’s Key Minister Lee Hsien Loong warned of much more pain in the new 12 months from slowing economic expansion.

“We should brace ourselves for the uncertainties in advance,” Lee claimed Saturday in his New Year’s Eve message to Singaporeans, referring to a troubled global outlook. “Our financial system will be impacted,” he mentioned.
