Cristiano Ronaldo signs with Al Nassr, Saudi Arabian club

Saudi Arabian soccer club Al Nassr on Friday announced the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, ending speculation about the 5-time Ballon d’Or winner’s long run.

Al Nassr posted a image on social media of Ronaldo keeping up the team’s jersey, with the club hailing the deal as “history in the earning.”

“This is a signing that will not only encourage our club to obtain even higher good results but inspire our league, our country and upcoming generations, boys and ladies to be the ideal model of by themselves,” the club wrote.

Ronaldo experienced been a cost-free agent right after his deal was terminated by Manchester United pursuing an explosive Tv interview in which he criticized manager Erik ten Hag and the club’s proprietors. He is coming off a disappointing Environment Cup exactly where he was benched in the knockout rounds and Portugal dropped in the quarterfinals to Morocco.
