Swinton: Two arrested after shots fired, police say

Two males have been arrested after photographs have been fired yesterday evening, law enforcement say.

At close to 6pm yesterday (Thursday 29), law enforcement attended experiences of gunshots on Overdale in Swinton.

Professional firearms officers attended and secured the scene, with bags containing what is believed to be numerous tens of thousands of lbs of income recovered.

Two males have since been arrested on suspicion of dollars laundering, firearms offences and drug offences.

One particular person has been taken to healthcare facility with accidents that are not considered to be lifestyle-threatening or life-changing. 

A scene remains in place though officers carry out their enquiries.

Detective Inspector Charlotte Poole mentioned: “I would like to reassure the nearby group that we have amplified the amount of patrol officers deployed to the space and are working at speed to comprehend the entire circumstances surrounding this incident.
