The GMB’s Amanda Gearing stated customers going for walks out at the Coventry warehouse deserved “decent pay”.

She stated: “When the staff have acquired nothing to get rid of, you see them coming out fighting. The depots are just horrendous sites to function.”

Personnel are underneath massive stress to strike targets, she claimed, adding: “We’ve got accidents and far more ambulances coming in this article than any other United kingdom warehouse.”

Striker Garfield Hilton stated even trips to the toilet are questioned, by managers who want “every moment maximised”.

An Amazon spokesman mentioned: “The broad majority of ambulance simply call-outs are similar to pre-current problems. You can use the bathroom anytime you like.”
